These automated generator sets are suitable for supplying power in very remote sites, and can be configured for either satellite or cell phone communications. Systems are based on a small diesel engine (3.5kW to 10kW typical) for reliable “dispatchable” power. Solar or wind is added to reduce fuel consumption, runtime and scheduled service calls.
All units are fully assembled, tested and operated for 24hrs, then dismantled for shipping to your site by truck or helicopter, and installed on your site.
A typical setup built and installed by Sentrex includes:
· Diesel gen set
· Container (shipping container) for shelter and security on site or smaller steel enclosures
· Ventilation and exhaust
· Battery bank
· Fuel tank (double walled)
· Satellite or cell phone modem
· Controller
Installation is not the end. Sentrex monitors the unit and emails reports to the client with vital information to ensure your measurement campaign will have the power it needs. Local field service is also provided. Remote control of the units allows significant troubleshooting which can minimize service calls and indicate service required.
